Jeffrey A. Charnick, 47, of Cambridge, MA, son of Virginia (Kilduff Charnick and the late David Charnick, died unexpectedly of a heart attack February 13, 2010 in Somerville, MA. A New Britain native, he moved to Boston in 1981. Jeffrey was a graduate of New Britain High School and Boston University. He was an award winning Brewmaster at the former Commonwealth Brew Pub in Boston and later was a self employed private contractor. Jeffrey was known for his large metal art pieces and was also a property manager.
Besides his mother Virginia of New Britain, he leaves two brothers, Richard Charnick of New Britain, and David Charnick and his wife Linda of Southington; a nephew, Michael Charnick of Jackman, Maine; an aunt, Ellen Brush and her husband William of Southington; three uncles, William Kilduff of Southington, Edward Kilduff, Peter Kilduff and his wife Judy, all of New Britain; and many cousins.
Funeral services are Thursday 11 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Wednesday 4 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home.
